Superior hygienic qualities:
The mats are one singular unit, designed without the
need of a vinyl coverings where bacteria can be
harbored usually within the zip area, The standard
type of mats that have been previously used in
birthing procedures come with a vinyl covering. If this
vinyl covering is damaged or split then the mat
becomes unusable as the mat is then capable of
absorbing germs / liquids that would cause the mat
to fall short of hygiene regulations. The unique closed
cell nature of the ecocell birthing mat however means
that penetration by bacteria cannot occur, any split to
the material will not allow any liquid or bacteria to
penetrate internally. The mats carry certification from
SATRA regarding moisture penetration and blood born
viruses. The mats are 100% latex free.

that the EcoCell birthing mat does not absorb
moisture and is easy to wipe clean making this a

and performance. The surface can withstand up to
2% Sodium Hypo chlorite solution wash, finished off
with a warm water rinse.
Toxin free and non allergenic:
Our product features no substance which is harmful
to the environment and is entirely Latex, PVC and
chlorides free and includes No phthalate, toluene,
or heavy metals. This means of course that the
EcoCell birthing mat is almost 100% non allergenic.
